Giselle Kidson-Gerber

Dr Kidson-Gerber (FRACP, FRCPA) is Head of Clinical Haematology at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, Sydney. She subspecialises in Obstetric Haematology, working closely with obstetricians & midwives, genetics and laboratory staff on clinical and laboratory issues. Dr Kidson-Gerber is is passionate about optimising women’s health outcomes in the clinic and through research and education. Dr Kidson-Gerber is involved in a range of projects and publications in obstetrics including including lymphoma and leukaemia in pregnancy, management of Sickle Cell Disease in pregnancy, optimising outcomes in Transfusion Dependent Thalassaemia, Guidelines for Estimation of Fetomaternal Haemorrhage, inherited bleeding disorders, haemoglobinopathy screening, thromboprophyaxis in pregnancy, anaemia and iron deficiency in pregnancy.
